Reading Options

To be quite honest I was a little overwhelmed when looking over all of the stories. There are SO many! That is what makes it great though, you have so many options to read in this "UnTextbook"!

The first unit that caught my eye was the Japanese Mythology unit. My mother is Japanese so I have heard a lot of stories growing up, but there's also so many I haven't heard of before. I enjoyed seeing that there really are so many different stories to discover.

Another unit I think I would like to read more about is the English Fairy Tale unit. There are multiple units on this so I don't think I could get bored reading! The Old Woman and Her Pig was a story that made we want to keep reading the other stories located in that unit.

Lastly, I want to keep reading more about the Ballads of Robin Hood. We all know the cartoon Robin Hood and it intrigued me because of that!

Week 4 Story: Chad & Rachel

London, my favorite place!

When I saw that we were writing a post about our favorite place, London was the only place that came to mind.  I had the opportunity to study abroad there in the Summer of 2017. There were many things I loved about it including: meeting people from all types of different cultures, learning about the city and country's (England) rich history, and just getting to walk around in such a beautiful city with amazing architecture.  (All of these photos are photos that I took or had someone take of me with my own camera!)
